    SETU by Zoho Nagpur is a structured, project-based student engagement initiative that enables students to transform ideas into real-world solutions. The program emphasizes learning by doing, encouraging students to create using their knowledge and imagination. SETU is not a competition. It is an opportunity for individuals to explore, build, and grow through industry aligned projects in the domains of computer hardware, firmware, mechatronics and power electronics.
    At the core of SETU lie curiosity and creativity: curiosity fuels learning, while creativity transforms ideas into reality.

Program Details

SETU Program Flow:

  1. Project List Sharing: 
    » At the start of the 5th and 6th semester, a detailed project list will be shared through college's T&P department.
  2. Choose Any Project: 
    » Learners can select a project that resonates with their interests and leverages their technical strengths.
    » Before making a final decision, individuals are advised to explore more than one project from the list and invest adequate effort in evaluating them.
    » Excellence is best achieved when personal interest aligns with technical capability.
    » Please note that SETU projects are intended to be undertaken individually and not as team projects.
  3. Support & Doubt Clearing:
    » Explore, experiment, and learn at your own pace.
    » There will be online discussion calls where doubts can be asked.
  4. Share Progress at the End of Semester: 
    » There is no requirement to submit a formal project report, thesis, or presentation. Instead of investing time in documentation or presentations, students are encouraged to focus their efforts on the actual project development.
    » You may further refine and improve your project during the semester break.
  5. Final Discussion at start of 7-Sem:
    » In discussion we will just try to understand: Your curiosity and creativity; Your problem solving capability and learning desire.
    » You may continue the given project/course at your own pace in the remaining semester.

    » Based on effort and learning, students who are selected will be offered an internship opportunity at Zoho Nagpur in the 8th semester.
    » During the remaining seventh semester, students will be free to participate in campus recruitment activities and fulfill other commitments.
